Carrie has a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College and years of finance experience in the world of advertising. She is highly emphatic and person-centered using an eclectic and tailored approach in working with clients to meet their needs. She has a strong passion and desire to help clients develop healthy coping skills in a non-judgmental therapeutic evironment. She believes in the power to change negative thoughts and behaviors into positive ones through empowerment.
Her interests are not limited to but include anxiety, depression, grief counseling, relationships and working with children and adolescents. She has previous experiences in an agency setting working with clients of various gender, race, age and socio-economic status as well as in a school setting working with at-risk adolescents.
